With over 20 years of experience in top kitchens across the UK and internationally, Chef Mustafa Akram brings a wealth of passion, creativity, and leadership to Smokies Park Hotel. Starting his culinary journey as an apprentice at the Islamabad Marriott, he went on to refine his skills in renowned establishments including Harrods, Hilton London, Hotel Café Royal, and The Bentley Hotel. Mustafa’s leadership has shaped award-winning kitchens at the Holiday Inn Manchester and Novotel London Blackfriars, where he launched innovative à la carte and wedding menus that combined bold flavours with precise cost control.

Mustafa’s cooking style draws inspiration from his love for sushi, Chinese, and Mediterranean cuisines—crafting dishes that are both visually stunning and deeply authentic. Known for his ability to lead and mentor diverse teams, he has a strong focus on quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction. At Smokies, Chef Mustafa continues to push culinary boundaries, offering fresh, seasonal menus that reflect his dedication to excellence and a genuine passion for hospitality.
